I thought Android 2.0 is supposed to have built-in multitouch support?

That and the poor camera quality are deal-breakers for me. C'mon, Google + phone manufacturers, get with the program.
You can't be serious. I saw the trailer before "The Hangover," and it looked absolutely idiotic.
It looks like some pictures of another Aspire laptop are mixed in. For example, http://www.engadget.com/photos/acer-aspire-one-11-6-inch-hands-on/1477682/

Says 10+ hours, Centrino 2 processor and 13.3" screen.

Anyways, I might be amenable to a 11.6-inch netbook if it gets 5 or 6 hours of battery life (assuming that the 8 hours they claim is inflated as it is with every manufacturer), as long as the price is below, say.. $600? I'm also curious what the weight is.

If they put it under $500 retail they'll make a killing.
These seems like a really stupid idea to me...
Yea.. even if this were to be found to be true, I'm pretty sure that banning the import of HARD DRIVES into the US would seriously fuck up our economy and would never be ALLOWED to happen. Patents be damned. Hard drives are such an integral part of everything we do that we literally cannot function without them.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I need help! I want a small pocket camcorder but I'm not sure which one to get. I don't want to fall into the hype of the Flip because I worry two hours won't be enough. What should I be looking for when considering a small camcorder and where can I get a good quality one with expandable memory? Thanks!"
