the tried and true AIM (msn for work)
I don't buy it. a company i've personally never heard of before - has a product that somehow runs some sort of code on the ps3 to make it accessible as a video encoding accelerator for your pc?
i too am lusting after A:CM in the worst damn way. My kingdom for a wicked Aliens based title!
you're very right. i use to be VERY anti-console fps games. keyboard/mouse or death and all that. but then recently i decided i might as well check out one of the largest segments of current console gaming (as i really hadn't this current gen. last time was on ps2 or something iirc).

in any case, a little news flash - they've been making fps titles for consoles for a while now - and you know something? they made the controls not suck too much. it's a little different, but still it's not as bad as it use to be.

at the end of the day the current draw to console fps games is a. my nice sized hdtv. much larger than my 19in wide screen lcd monitor b. the lack of having to worry about system requirements. my pc is a little old for modern games honestly, but still plenty powerful for my work needs and c. my nice comfy couch. sorry, but no desk/office chair can beat my couch.

Love Cheadle - hate this decision. I thought Howard did a fine job as Rhodey and am really disappointed he won't be back.

Ah well. such is life.
Ok - as much as i am sure this is pure BS - i recall thinking the same thing when it was announced Heath Ledger would play the Joker. "Wtf is this shit?"... so honestly, i am open to anything Nolan throws at us within this batman universe he's created,
Such a shame this flick wasn't given a chance. As soon as i heard it was going to be shown on FEARnet ondemand i started counting down the days (i was a big fan of the short story and heard so much good about this flick i couldn't wait).

long story short any fan of horror needs to see this movie. it delivers in all the right places. There's some good, brutal gore - but also gives you a chance to catch your breath *without* letting the tension ease up too much.

I look forward to adding this to my dvd/bluray library...
Wow, i kinda figured this would have sat on the flash memory where the 360 currently stores it's os... kinda strange. Maybe it's a 2 part solution - too large for whatever on board flash the unit has?

In any case, i plan on scoring a 360 pro to augment my ps3/wii setup in the coming weeks.
Three Sheets is one of my favorite programs - not only is it entertaining and informative, my friends and i enjoy playing the drinking game along with it.

It's the only show i know of that i can get through a 6 pack in ~30min.

I don't care where it ends up, just someone PLEASE snag this show.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I need help! I want a small pocket camcorder but I'm not sure which one to get. I don't want to fall into the hype of the Flip because I worry two hours won't be enough. What should I be looking for when considering a small camcorder and where can I get a good quality one with expandable memory? Thanks!"
