You can email discrete IR codes to Logitech support and they will add it to your account w/o problem. Yes, it has many limitations but still is the best solution out there for majority of the ppl primarilty due to the fact the IR code database are maintained on line and by the time you purchased your new equipment, the hard to find discrete codes are typically already there. I've used two Harmoney remotes for couple years now. The only time I need to get my own discrete code in is with Toshiba A3 HD-DVD player.
Your theory is partly correct. It's the coating on the plasma screen. Typically, Panasonic plasma (most common in Costco) TVs have less effective coating to combat against bright light.
PCs are limited to SD streaming only. HD streaming is reserved for non-PC devices only. I have to agree with you on content availability as well as the lack of surround sound.
You're the one that is un-informed. PC games are always rendered at whatever resolution you pick, not scaled up. Don't confuse game resolution with texture map resolution. Two different things.
360 games are usually always scaled. And PS3 depends. Some are scaled and some are not.
"I need help! I want a small pocket camcorder but I'm not sure which one to get. I don't want to fall into the hype of the Flip because I worry two hours won't be enough. What should I be looking for when considering a small camcorder and where can I get a good quality one with expandable memory? Thanks!"
