There are many HD DVD Players out there in Switzerland. For such a small country there are many people who are willing to and have the money for early adapting technologies like this.

Sony BDP-S300 450$
Offer: -190$
POTC: -115$
Spider-Man: -125$
-------
Total: 20$

I'm really thinking about trading my HD-E1 and buying a new one. They cost something like 100$ on EBay right now here in Switzerland. So the BDP S300 will only cost me a total of 120$.

But on the other site: Getting a working HD DVD Player recycled...
Where I live you can only receive somewhat like 2 HD Channels. But with Premiere HD and Sky HD over Sat I got a total of 17 Channels.
Oh great... it seems that "someone" forgot that BD has BD+ in Place, which can completely disable the player if it detects a modification. (Yes, this is not yet in place, but part of the BD+ specification). And: BD Players have to be updated regularly that you can play new movies, which will disable the Region hack.

I will stick with Region and BD+ Free HD DVD!
Shure we do pay to much in comparison to the US. But as a Swiss Guy I'm very happy with Sky HD. The best i can "normally" get here is Premiere HD and thats just 1 HD Channel (Sports and Movies) + Discovery HD - boring.

Sky HD is the best HD Service you can get in Europe!
Yes, outside the US the versions are all Non-Combo. Combo is a US only thing.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"With all the new multitouch capable monitors coming out, which one is the best? With the release of Windows 7 I really want a touchscreen monitor for my desktop. I'm looking to get a Full HD monitor that supports multitouch and can still look great during gaming and movies. Which one has the best specs for the price?"
