Price wise, blu ray is way ahead of DVD when it was 2 years old.

400 for aplayer isn't bad. But the good 1.1 players like the Panny 30 should be 400 and come with a damn HDMI cable. I wonder how many ppl are hooking their new BD Player up with red, white and yellow cables included in the box haha. I'm scared to know.
Yeah I hear ya.

I guess huge baseball markets get the HD.

And don't be fooled anyone... The Bluejays are massive in Canada.
Also,

We have had tons of BluJays HD since 2004. Last season they showed every home game in HD and every games VS the Yanks and Sox. Then by late summer they started showing every road game in HD.

So this nothing entirely new.

YES!

Haha whatever man. Tons of Jays fans... they have just taken so long to be a good team again it just seems that way.

Not since 1993 has there been so much excitment about the Jays. They are taking the East this year if they stay healthy! Two years ago they just missed the post season, finsihing ahead of the Sox and just behind the Yanks, last year held their own for the injuries they had. They had the most dollars wasted per injured player in the league last year.

2008 is the return of the Jays!!!

I will be there for the April 18th and 19th games against the Tigers. Gonna rock!!!
Panny bd30 all the way.
Pathetic.

We need to 60 Minutes or someone to go out and investigate these guys.
Wow

The HD-A30 disappeared from Futureshop here in Canada on Saturday as well... the website that is.
I hope this is true.

But how could they create this on BD so quietly until now I woner?

Also, I bet it has the crappy DD+ audio so I will be passing until they put it on blu with DTS-HD-MA :D
LOL good idea!

I'm going to miss you HD DVD. I will never forget my first HD DVD porn experience evening along with you.
I remember the day that picture at walmart was first posted here... we all had such hope for HD DVD hehe.

Reality sets in and now I am a Blu boy and very excited that there will be one format VERY shortly.

IT'S OVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOOHOO!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just moved into a new apartment and have been reading about all of the new power strips out there, especially the green ones. I was wondering if you had any suggestions about which "green "power strips are out there with decent joules ratings. And when I say green, I mean power strips that have the remotes or switches to turn off all electricity flowing to certain plugs and with at least 2 plugs that are always on. I was looking specifically at sub $50 because I will need two, but if that is not possible I could be convinced otherwise. Thanks!"
