I am great and so is RF.
I have needed an RS232 Bluray player and receiver and this gives me an excuse!
I use component because of the reliability and the length of cable that can be used without losing video.
We will miss you series 3... Can't wait to see a 2 way tivo.
Why not just US Dynamic DNS and access a local webpage to control the lights and what not. I have insteon setup to be controlled via a webpage through a crestron system.
Well it is hard to get soccer in HD and I doubt that will be coming anytime soon. Living in Philly and seeing most flyers home games in HD is awesome but sinceI live in philly i do not get the playoffs in HD... stupid versus in philly.
1. I think i am going to buy a PS3 for the mean time but waiting for june to come to buy the 80GB version.
2. when I do get a standalone player it needs to be 2.0 compliant and have a RS232 port on the back which puts it way out of my budget for now.
I have it installed in my touch panel since the model came out. I am now living without my tivo remote... Crestron is supposed to come out with a model to get the now playing list and also the guide. This is all rumored though but I am sure when that comes it will help the hacks out there also. Until then hopefully someone finds out what the command set is so I don't have to wait for the tivo module from crestron.
I have used this system... it is awesome. They have a Quad and Dual also. I also like the 4k touch panel better that does Skype and Yahoo widgets which will hopefully be in my house by June. Hopefully my company doesn't find a use for it
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"What is the best wireless surround sound speaker solution? I have a home theater where running wires is just not feasible. I have my own speakers, so I don't want a system that has speakers with integrated wireless. I've done a far amount of research and have only come across a few companies that even offer a reasonable solution: KEF, Kenwood and Rocketfish. Is there anything else out there? What do you recommend? Thank you!"
