You scumbags don't deserve a cake for all your PS3 negativity, and fueling PS3 hate.
@14 You forget, 360 load times on UT3 (when it finally arrives), will be much slower than the PS3 version. Despite the fudged stats that Microsoft posted, the PS3's Blu-ray drive on average is significantly faster than the 360's DVD drive (Microsoft purposely left out the CAV/CLV differences, and the fact the 360 drive is 8x on dual layer 9GB DVD media).
Indeed. Anyone wonder why Toshiba are deadly silent on the subject? Surely if all that was required was a firmware update, don't you think they will be shouting from the rooftops?

The sad fact is, nothing on the market today will play these 51GB discs, and the only reason they are around, is to make HD DVD look like it still has a chance.

Why o why, do Sony Europe still have these complete idiots in marketing working for them?

These adverts are no good, we need the adverts the US just got.

Now I am sure there are Sony marketing whores saying "these Euro ads are working, as sales of PS3 are strong in Europe, lets all have a pay rise".

WAKE UP CALL FOR SONY EUROPE:

The Euro sales would be even stronger, if you actually sold the console on it's abilities, and showed some gameplay. The US adverts are awesome, the European adverts are simply confusing.
Looking at the previews, it's just a very poor cousin to Feel Ski on the PS3.
Anyone notice the implication that the current dual layer players won't be able to play the tripple layer discs??
I reckon late 2008 at best.

Oh dear...
That's the worst advice I have ever read. Sounds like someone went down walmart and bought a $99 player, and now off of a sudden thinks he can win the war on his own little nws site!

FACT: Blu-ray is outselling HD DVD in media by a factor of 3:1, and has been outselling it for over a year now.

FACT: Vastly more Blu-ray players are on the market (6million Blu-ray vs 500,000 HD DVD)

FACT: Attach rates ON DEDICATED players, Blu-ray is better (if you are an idiot, and include PS3, it will obviously lower the movie attach rate).
Those HD DVD guys are funny.

When it comes to players out there, they like to exclude PS3. Yet when they talk attach rates, they like to INCLUDE them.

Anyone that believes this PR, is a total idiot. That's OFFICIAL.
I find it hillarious people are blaming Sony. They were the ones who broke the licence agreement and faked accounts to get it, really puts all blame in THEIR court.

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a pair of quality headphones that aren't seemingly made of glass. I'm an avid BMXer which causes me to frequently bash on any type of technology that joins me for my daily riding. I've been through the higher quality headsets in the Skullcandy line as these are supposed to be built for "abuse," which is laughable. I cant wear earbuds or canal buds, as my large ears seem to have a repelling property upon anything that sits in them. Wired or Bluetooth doesn't really matter, but I need something that can hold up to taking a few hits every now and again. I'm trying to keep 'em under $150. Thanks!"
