I'd say it's more likely that Sony didn't want Netflix on their system because it will take purchases away from their online movie service, but Netflix found a way around it and Sony decided to give in. I'd say the next major firmware release will probably include it natively, but it is being released on a disc for now to get it to market sooner.
Does anyone know if this will reduce battery life if you already were using it for calendar and contact sync?
Hopefully Push Notifications for the iPhone will be mentioned.
I've been using the PS3IR-PRO for a few months now. It basically has the same feature set and is quite a bit cheaper. Not sure on the comparison with build quality.

It's not available to Canadians yet.

Does the Rogers Vision plan not allow for unlimited on-device mobile browsing? From what I can tell, as long as you're not hacking your iPhone and using 3rd party apps you should be fine. Actually I'm just wondering how that would work with the new App Store coming. Maybe any and all signed apps will allow you to use unlimited data. Also it doesn't look like they're calling it Vision anymore.

The difference this time is that porn is readily available for home use now, which it wasn't during the vhs/beta war. Porn is a non-issue this time around.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I have a MacBook Pro and an Xbox 360 and I would like to get a 20- to 24-inch display that will support both devices. The speakers should be inbuilt, or there should be an aux out on the display to hook up external speakers. Help! Please!"
