@blash: let me guess you are from Israel..
The battery replace/recharge thing isn't anything new, but the biggest problem is the availability.. Why buy such a car if you can only recharge it at a few places now, and therefore why put recharge places up if there aren't any cars.. it will take years before there are enough recharge places as there are gasstations..
And the other point is, almost all electric cars are pretty ugly, so why would you ever want to drive an ugly car like that even if it would be better for the enviroment.

Why can't they make good looking cars.. my god, who the hell want's to drive in these ugly cars like a Prius or this volt.. And the prius really isn't anything better than a regular economic car..

I'm sorry to say this, but I don't think this design is better as the current MS version (which isn't my taste either, but IMHO it's way better as this swedish version)..

I'm sorry to say this, but what kind of unprofessional webdevelopers have redesigned Engadget.. I guess they where only using firefox.. oh comeon, for a techsite they really did a very bad job.. I guess they never tested it on different browsers, like one of the major browsers out there like IE8.. the site has become just unuseable..
ofcourse redesign is good, but this is really one piece of unprofessional coding. I guess you really shouldn't put this new site on your resume if you are looking for a webdeveloper job.. and I now know which developers NOT to hire for redoing my own website..

I guess I too have problems with the new font (I'm using IE8 with cleartype on) like a lot of people, it's bad (too smal or something, the font used in the comments is ok)..
Also the adpages have big problems with loading, I get a 'stop running this script' message on every page on engadget now and it seems that it is related to the ads..

So fix the font please, but the rest is looking great.. Just take the font you are using in the commenteditor (as it seems to me that is also the same font as used before on the mainpages)..

Also in IE8 the button doesn't show (at least not in my version), I'm typing this in FF3.5.5 (which hurt my eyes even more because of the lack of cleartype in the browser)..

And another worthless firmware update.. when will there be real updates for enhancing the PS3, like extending the amount of supported codecs..

Now that's a great case I would like to have.. nice black and no ugly neon/led stuff..

That's exactly what I thought... And it's even cheaper... hehe..

It propably uses a LCD/LED display that spins around real quickly, and the the image is refreshed at the corresponding angle..

@ssoltero: SplitFish already made this controller (although wired) for the PS2 long before the 360 launched.. So it's nothing new..
