Why would you sign a contract if you're using your own phone? I don't think a contract would be necessary in this situation. I'm pretty sure you can go month-to-month from day one if you already have a network-ready phone of your own.
This whole discussion reminds me of that Louis CK bit where he's talking about how people today have no patience and don't appreciate what they have. I'm not saying that a $350 ETF is necessarily just, but people would still be bitching if the fee was only $200. It sounds like most people here expect they DESERVE their phones for free or at a steep discount without any penalty if they decide to cancel their contract early. That said, if you're on a family plan and want a new phone early...just add another line and keep the $350 ETF line open until the contract expires. The $9.99/m for the line will most likely be cheaper than whatever the prorated ETF will be.
like tom noted, there are considerable differences between this new curve and the bold. the 8900 is smaller and thinner and retains the spaces between the keys.
Why not subsidize companies who are actually producing FUNCTIONAL alternative fuel cars like Tesla? I'm getting tired of these massive companies who like to selectively participate in capitalism. The US government is beginning to set a scary precedent by eliminating the risk in building industries/business. Who is with me--let's start a company and make it so big that we can threaten massive economic failure if someone doesn't bail us out. If they can't handle the risks, they shouldn't be entitled to the rewards.
need it for the storm i'll be getting in 2 weeks!
how did you get them to understand what was going on? the walmart i just went to had no idea what i was talking about, and one woman was going on and on about how they're still making hd dvds. they also refused to call 1-800-walmart to confirm that this was legit.
just go to circuit city or some other similar store. most chain electronic stores price match now.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I have a MacBook Pro and an Xbox 360 and I would like to get a 20- to 24-inch display that will support both devices. The speakers should be inbuilt, or there should be an aux out on the display to hook up external speakers. Help! Please!"
