Thank you HP! I hate format wars passionately... clearly Blue Ray is a superior format....I want one in my pc.
Well I have been looking to buy HD for years...but everytime I find one that does HD and shows standard TV 'acceptably' it's 6-10k...never gonna happen! (It seems I have champaign taste, but a beer budget.) This unit I bought only because I like LCD's and it was 1920x1080 'Native' resolution. When I compared it in the store (BB) it was not impressive...However I bought it anyway. Boy am I pleased... HDTV looks like a giant moving transparency that is on a lightbox! Impressive...Particularly if the HD is 1080i. And SDTV is nearly acceptable, but is certainly not god awful as most HDTV's I have looked at. Ton's of different inputs, and OSX from an Apple laptop looks great. Quite a most wonderful monitor. No tuner...but I have TWDC. 4 weeks later and no buyers remorse....
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
