The A3 TDI started showing up at US dealerships in November. Demand seems to be outpacing supply right now, as some dealers have waiting lists and are asking more than MSRP. However, production hasn't fully ramped up yet, and probably won't for another month or so, given the two-week shutdown for Xmas. It's also been reported that the first 6 months' production is spoken for between existing orders & dealer allocations -- so if you placed a factory order today, it wouldn't be built until at least May.

I drove the Eurospec TDI a couple months back when my dealer had it for a few days -- it's almost impossible to tell the difference between the diesel & gasoline versions. I liked it so much that I put down a deposit for one; expected delivery is in early February.
Maybe not. BBC is reporting that Renault is having an emergency board meeting today to determine whether or not they'll stay in F1.
I'll be upgrading my HTPC box from VMC to Windows 7 sometime in November, and if the Ceton cablecard tuner becomes available before 2010, I'll probably get one of those, budget permitting.
Is it wrong for me to wish that Felipe Massa had one of these in Hungary?
Star Trek II, IV and VI aren't new Blu-Ray releases. I picked them up at Fry's months ago as a boxed set featuring the first six movies -- only $60 for the lot.
IIRC, Better Place is using Nissan vehicles, so it's certainly a possibility.
Here in metro Atlanta, Charter added several HD channels a couple weeks back, including USA, Bravo, and SyFy.
I've been using a couple of DMA2200s on my Vista64 media center box for a month or so now, using 802.11n. They work surprisingly well, considering they're Linksys. Newegg and others are selling the 2200 for around $140, a good price considering that it includes an upconverting DVD player.

If your VMC box has multiple tuners (especially if they support clear QAM), this is a good solution for extending cable TV access to rooms not wired for cable -- the extender can use one of the tuners in the VMC box, and the signal will be streamed over the network to the extender. Quite a bit easier than stringing coax.
I'll be flying AirTran next week for a long Memorial Day weekend-- maybe I'll get a chance to try it out. They're a good low fare airline, and I use them whenever I can. For example, when I booked next week's trip last week, I managed to get a round trip from Atlanta to Ft. Myers, FL for under $150. Not bad for a holiday weekend.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a pair of quality headphones that aren't seemingly made of glass. I'm an avid BMXer which causes me to frequently bash on any type of technology that joins me for my daily riding. I've been through the higher quality headsets in the Skullcandy line as these are supposed to be built for "abuse," which is laughable. I cant wear earbuds or canal buds, as my large ears seem to have a repelling property upon anything that sits in them. Wired or Bluetooth doesn't really matter, but I need something that can hold up to taking a few hits every now and again. I'm trying to keep 'em under $150. Thanks!"
