Hey Ben our power company (www.epbfi.com) has installed fi using a iptv stb (http://www.dslreports.com/r0/download/1464589~ff55c6fbbace80189a51f6d6dd662df2/GUdTV_IPN430MCInstallManual.pdf). I connected one line to my HTPC dual tuner (ASUS) and it will only find a analog signal (which displays 80 channels). Only using a stb with WMC turned to channel three will it allow digital HD). M$ is using mediaroom anytime software in the stb. I would think iptv would allow WMC to detect it but no luck.

This is funny, just last night I was at BB loking at ASUS lappies with my daughter. A salesperson is walking by with a customer and she was telling him about Dells. He paused and asked what are ASUS and she replied "I think they used to make computer parts and now there are making laptops, they are not well know". Of course I had to say something like "USE TO, are you kidding they still make excellent componets and computers". Needless to say my daughter quickly walked away.
