I just don't get why people are so into buying DVDs, BDs or HD-DVDs. Seriously, how many movies are there that are worth re-watching so many times that it necessitates buying them? Do people buy them more as collectibles versus actual useful items?

Unless you work for Toshiba or something, you really should relax and not let this format war consume you. You must spend hours every day trying to hype up a format that, I assume, you have no real stake in. Seriously, move on for what's left of your sanity.

Didn't they just lose their suit against Tivo? Aren't they in danger of not being able to have DVR service at all?
