Well wouldn't you know they are now rolling this out in St. Louis. Of course I have a contract with DirectTV which I really do like so I ask the sales guy can I tap in the just the internet and phone part? I already have ATT DSL and Vonage, happy with both but feel the need for more speed. No go, you have to buy into the whole bundle or nothing, bummer, like if they gave me 2 out or 3 and made it compelling I might switch TV at a later point. But I am going to be so deep in DirectTV hardware by that point I may never switch now.
As a loyal early adopter of Vonage I have never had a lick of trouble, quality has been excellent and I have never had to call customer service so I can't comment on that. I want my Vonage to stay just the way it is, good quality and a cheap price. The telco was charging me triple for less and I won't go back, I'll go wireless first.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a pair of quality headphones that aren't seemingly made of glass. I'm an avid BMXer which causes me to frequently bash on any type of technology that joins me for my daily riding. I've been through the higher quality headsets in the Skullcandy line as these are supposed to be built for "abuse," which is laughable. I cant wear earbuds or canal buds, as my large ears seem to have a repelling property upon anything that sits in them. Wired or Bluetooth doesn't really matter, but I need something that can hold up to taking a few hits every now and again. I'm trying to keep 'em under $150. Thanks!"
