I have no idea how to fix the economy. But even if I did, I doubt there is a single solution that could fit into a blog post such as this that would solve the economic issues spanning the globe today.
@a ham sandwich: The PCMag review you linked to has been replaced by a new review (http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2340418,00.asp) they posted late last year. This later review states the following: "I like the technology a lot, but until the company can reliably address technical and billing complaints, the magicJack is difficult to recommend for the average, nontechnical consumer."
My desktop computer can't even run a modern 3D game, but I could always use a new 22" monitor.
My old electric shaver is useless...so this would be cool.
I'm hoping for bag #2.
My favorite CES announcement was the Palm Pre. I'm on Sprint and this phone seems to be exactly what I've been looking for. The only potential negatives being:

1) No memory expansion (maybe the final version will have it)
2) Not many applications at first (but hopefully this will grow)
3) Keyboard in portrait vs. landscape

I'll talk about Apple...my favorite product of theirs is probably the Ipod. They released it at a time when hard-drive based MP3 players were completely unusable and clunky. They revolutionized the portable music player.

Back to Microsoft... As I mentioned in the other polls, Windows 95 is my favorite Microsoft product.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a pair of quality headphones that aren't seemingly made of glass. I'm an avid BMXer which causes me to frequently bash on any type of technology that joins me for my daily riding. I've been through the higher quality headsets in the Skullcandy line as these are supposed to be built for "abuse," which is laughable. I cant wear earbuds or canal buds, as my large ears seem to have a repelling property upon anything that sits in them. Wired or Bluetooth doesn't really matter, but I need something that can hold up to taking a few hits every now and again. I'm trying to keep 'em under $150. Thanks!"
