"I'm sure we'll be reading soon about how horrible the ratings are and how the show is on the bubble for renewal."

Heroes got renewed last week. If only there was a website to tell me such important TV related news...
It's funny because this used to happen in reverse in Australia all the time. 10 years ago it was common for primetime ads to be dubbed by Australians. Now they dont bother - it's done only on infomercials.

If you had an eye for when NTSC video is being broadcast, you could spot them easily.
You seem to have missed the point. You've made it sound as if this is about HD broadcasts and not HD multi-channelling. 7's competitors have offered 1080i on their HD channels for years with 7 only just catching up in June (up from 576p). Their commencement of multi-channelling 6 weeks early is nothing to applaud them about.
Although E-Day is Thursday in Australia, pretty much every specialist retailer started selling GoW this past weekend, just like in the US.
So in AUD (based on the the usual electronics markup we get) the PS3 should turn out to be $799/$999. Maybe $749/$899?

Still, much too much.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am looking for a device that will stream sound from one source to several recipients. For example, I want to stream sound from my TV or stereo to my phone or MP3 player that has radio and Bluetooth capabilities. I have looked into radio transmitters and they seem like a decent choice, but I can't find one that uses external power (USB or from the plug) and I would want one with a transmit range of around 50 meters. Thanks!"
