Yeah, our neighborhood north of Dallas, TX got blanketed by knowledgable salespeople this past week. It was a welcome switch, too, as we're currently DirecTV and are having our usual issues with their equipment.
I am along the same lines as you -- I keep all of my emails as well, or at least try to. When I was a history major during college, we often lamented what the digital age would mean to our future work...as more and more work becomes digital, it becomes less and less permanent, thanks to either the storage medium (CD-Rs ain't nearly as good as Mesopotamian clay tablets) or the pressures of the data owner to purge their collection during space crunches. Do what you can to keep your emails, within reason of course!
Damnit! I *knew* I should have snuck into the locker room when I had a chance. Now I'll have to go to journalism school. Thanks, dude!
First! I mean, me me me me!
Yeah, I'd be more of a fanboy myself if I had a few spare thousand dollars to plunk down on a Macbook Air. The hardware is (no pun intended) breath-taking, but a little out of reach for most people's budgets.
Comments are one of my beatings as a blog owner, although I don't get nearly enough to take up much time. They're helpful as validation, to know that my efforts are appreciated by others. Otherwise, it's a crapshoot.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a pair of quality headphones that aren't seemingly made of glass. I'm an avid BMXer which causes me to frequently bash on any type of technology that joins me for my daily riding. I've been through the higher quality headsets in the Skullcandy line as these are supposed to be built for "abuse," which is laughable. I cant wear earbuds or canal buds, as my large ears seem to have a repelling property upon anything that sits in them. Wired or Bluetooth doesn't really matter, but I need something that can hold up to taking a few hits every now and again. I'm trying to keep 'em under $150. Thanks!"
