When I first realized that I was exploring the same places in Super Metroid that I did in Metroid. Everything had that shiny new coat of paint on it thanks to the SNES!
Isn't TWC Raleigh supposed to be adding 4 channels or so this week? It should Bravo, CNBC, SciFi and USA. I'll have to look back and check...
Didn't hear of anything too exciting.
Looks like they are counting the On Demand channels as well. I don't see a specification that the On Demand channel needs to be HD to be counted toward the 100 channels. Shady advertising if you ask me. The same way Directv advertises over 100 HD, but 50+ of them are sports channels that are packaged together in a few packages (i.e. MLB, In car Racing, etc.). I think companies should group the channels and not list them individually when it comes to advertising.
Any way that we can get Jeff to give us regular updates here in the Triangle? I've been with Time Warner's HD service for four years now and I'm happy to see more channels, but I'm still less than impressed.

Where's the SciFi HD, USAHD, FSN HD, and all the others???
As a TWC customer here in Raleigh, I have to agree that it sucks here. I hope it's not this bad everywhere. I constantly fight about bills, service screw-ups, etc. A little part of me holds out for hope knowing that our 8300HD(C)s are now SDV capable (used for the Olympics) and they can add channels anytime now. Come on Time Warner, I could handle some of the billing arguments if I knew I was getting 100+ HD channels!!!
It will still never be as much fun as cute college girls flashing you so you miss...

I farted in a crowded elevator and blamed my girlfriend.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I've found myself using my PC for a lot of conversations lately, and I'm also considering recording a podcast to share with anyone who will listen. There are tons of USB headset / microphones out there, and I'm hoping someone has some solid recommendations based on experience. I'll consider both headsets and standalone mics, by the way, but I'd like to keep the bill under $100 if possible. Help!"
