anyone else think it looks a bit like a washing machine?
yet, there will no doubt be some lunatics that buy this piece of s**t
If Microsoft were to make a handheld, it would have to be something REALLY special to win over DS and PSP fans. That said, they should get on it right away.

To all US citizens moaning about the price of the PS3:
US price = $599 (Nov ’06 release)
UK price = £425 (Mar ’07 release)
UK price at current US exchange rates = $795

fwacce, I don't consider myself a hardcore gamer but certainly a committed one. I have made very little effort to up my gamerscore immensely but it is interesting to have some sort of sembelance of how you are performing. As far as I'm concerned, this is yet another slip up from Sony. Sure many people won't give a s**t weather they have a record of their achievments or not, but quite a few will.
I still say Xbox FTW this generation, certainly as far as I'm concerned because I can't justify spending £425 on a console (by the way all you guys in the US who think you've got it bad having to pay $599 can check out the current exchange rate on £425 - our much delayed march 2007 release of the PS3 will cost a mere snip at $795)
all my friends own a 360! how else would I have met them on Xbox Live! (I don't have any real friends!)
As much as i dislike Sony these days (since the launch of the first xbox I have been a convert) I very much doubt that it will be "the final nail in the coffin" if the PS3 fails. Sony is a HUGE multinational company with its fat little fingers in many, many pies. They could quite happily burn all of the first shipment of PS3's and still at least break even for the fiscal year. The truth is that the PS3 will not flop, despite what many people would like - myself included (although I understand why people are excited by idea a new playstation, I could never justify 425 for a console [which, incidentally, is the best part of $800])
my xbox 360 and wireless bridge so i can listen to music whilst i play.

I wish you guys would stop putting gadgets in front of all the lovely ladies.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am looking for a device that will stream sound from one source to several recipients. For example, I want to stream sound from my TV or stereo to my phone or MP3 player that has radio and Bluetooth capabilities. I have looked into radio transmitters and they seem like a decent choice, but I can't find one that uses external power (USB or from the plug) and I would want one with a transmit range of around 50 meters. Thanks!"
