question: will there be an Italian language option w/ subtitles? would definitely help with the authenticity and immersion IMO.
I think they're calling it 'fake' because 16:9 HD is 1920x1080
so... Atlantic County (specifically in and around AC) is out? lame...
or, you can hire a structural engineer to do a visual inspection and evaluation report for a quarter that price...
smb3 timeattack ftw
um, sprint is neat, can i have this?
i was actually gonna buy one, but winning would be waaaaayy more fun ;-)
I recently did the whole downgrade-to-1.5-upgrade-to-3.03OE-C after using official sony firmware exclusively to this point, solely for the ability to play copies of PS1 games (that I own by the way).

Shame on Sony for not either a) opening up their official PS1 emulator and some game-ripping software (hell even throw in some DRM if you want, just let us put our PS1 games on the handheld) or b) making ALL PS1 games available for purchase through the online store and make that accessable through wireless internet (and no, I do not own a PS3, but this is a whole 'nother argument)

Oh, and since Polyphony is taking their sweet time with GT mobile, I'm currently working on my I-A license on the original GT, it runs beautifully :-)
OK, so call me naive, but what's with the nomenclature of Gb vs. GB? Those parentheses threw me off there guys...

And no, the 2G vs. 1GB discussion (how long did that go on?) with the second-gen iPod shuffle did not throw me.
As I recall, a large portion of the story revolves around a group of townsfolk (a.k.a. potential victims) barricaded inside a grocery store, whilst the "mist" obscures all but a foot or two of the outside world. You are right on with the monsters being revealed only as the occasional tenticle, probing for weaknesses in the refugee's defences and lying in wait for those courageous (or foolhearty) enough to venture out into the open. It'll be interesting to see how such a murky, dark and mysterious environment is portrayed in film as compared to the picture Mr. King was able to draw in my mind.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a pair of quality headphones that aren't seemingly made of glass. I'm an avid BMXer which causes me to frequently bash on any type of technology that joins me for my daily riding. I've been through the higher quality headsets in the Skullcandy line as these are supposed to be built for "abuse," which is laughable. I cant wear earbuds or canal buds, as my large ears seem to have a repelling property upon anything that sits in them. Wired or Bluetooth doesn't really matter, but I need something that can hold up to taking a few hits every now and again. I'm trying to keep 'em under $150. Thanks!"
