My Samsung won't let me use it with except with OTA or if I plug my cable signal directly into my TV, neither of which I do so I never use it. It might be useful if I could use it for the HDMI or component inputs.

I think my DVR might supposed to be able to do it, but I've never bothered with it.
First off, the Wii doesn't offer HD so it's out.

I have both a Xbox 360 and a PS3, and although the PS3 has a few nice exclusive games like Heavenly Sword, most games I want to play are available only the 360 or both platforms. I end up using the Xbox 360 a lot more for HD gaming, but the PS3 is more futureproof.
Nice to see Comcast finally adding these to CT, I've been waiting a good while.
I agree completely. For instance, I'm going to wait to watch the new season of The Riches until it comes out on Blu-Ray because I don't get FX HD.

Perhaps he was trying to talk about stretch-o-vision or something though.
Comcast Digital Cable from Bolton, CT. Thirty including locals and discounting a duplicate of HBO HD.
Yeah, it'd be heaven if YouTube went HD. I'm sick of my friends trying to get me to watch stupid SD clips.
What's the third major rental service besides Netflix and Blockbuster?
It was pretty brutal blow to HD-DVD when they lost Warner. HD-DVD still had a chance to come back if everything went right, but with Netflix going Blu, Blockbuster's brick and mortar stores only stocking Blu-Ray, and now Best Buy recommending Blu-Ray to their customers it's safe to shell out for a BD player.
I'm quite happy. It'll make me take my account off hold if they can focus on Blu-Ray and get better wait times.
For the most part I'm satisfied with Comcast. I get a decent number of HD channels, I just want Scifi HD in my area. Their DVR is a little screwy, but HD VOD is good and overall I'm happy.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I need help! I want a small pocket camcorder but I'm not sure which one to get. I don't want to fall into the hype of the Flip because I worry two hours won't be enough. What should I be looking for when considering a small camcorder and where can I get a good quality one with expandable memory? Thanks!"
