Reboot your cable modem if you live in the Twin Cities!
I live near St. Paul, MN. I tried a uploading some files today with my Comcast cable modem and I was seeing the usual 350kbps. I rebooted my cable modem and now I'm getting 800kbps. I'm not sure why I'm maxing out at 100kilobytes / sec but it is a much needed improvement! Reboot your cable modem and you'll see the speed gains!
If it plays the mkv container format I might just need to get one. I really want something that will play 720p or 1080 h.264 in mkv with ac3 or dts audio. Most HD releases are in that format now.
Is it possible to use the SageTV HD extender without running SageTV on your PC? I just want something that will play HD videos off a samba share on my PC. If only my XBMC had the power to play HD video :-(
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.

I'm looking to get a Full HD monitor that supports multitouch and can still look great during gaming and movies. Which one has the best specs for the price?"
