It connects through the dock and transmits the data to the iPhone via dock connector. And yes, it can be done, apple allows it under the 3.0 firmware.
I would use it on my front porch as a security camera, and then wire the power down the wall through to the other side. This would be awesomeness to have. :D
AHHHH! I want one of these SO bad engadget. I would pick one up too, if Comcast ON Demand was available on it. If they expand their streaming capabilites to boxee standards, then well, I may be interested.
I wish, but Comcast told me I can't get ON Demand options without the Comcast box. Is this true? Also, if it's not true, how would I get to the On Demand programming section through this Moxi box?
WHOA. Moxi is kinda blowing my mind! If only I could keep watching my Free ON Demand options that Comcast gives me with this. Dang I'd totally choose this bad boy.
This would be a sick prize for me. :) But to whoever wins, congrats!
Possible, but unlikely I think.

Probably just a gag. Besides, I don't think he'd give up the traffic UNTIL he sold it to Apple, which in that case, the WHOis wouldn't still be him. I would use this as something credible, but hey, who knows right?
Very funny. That domain is own by some guy in Moscow or something, I looked up the whois.
I'm gonna make a guess. I think that maybe if this "iPhone Nano" DOES come to be, it's going to be offered on "Pay as you go" plans, I think it fits the bill.

Who else agrees?
Nice, but I already got this info from a site called http://www.dailynintendo.com you guys should check it out...
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just moved into a new apartment and have been reading about all of the new power strips out there, especially the green ones. I was wondering if you had any suggestions about which "green "power strips are out there with decent joules ratings. And when I say green, I mean power strips that have the remotes or switches to turn off all electricity flowing to certain plugs and with at least 2 plugs that are always on. I was looking specifically at sub $50 because I will need two, but if that is not possible I could be convinced otherwise. Thanks!"
