they could not give it to transformers as this would be a nod of acknoledgement for hd dvd.
so sony has shit in the consumers houses then runs a mile how typical
"were future proof were the best were so much up our own backside that we can flog the consumer any old crap and they will buy it because of our name.
next they will be telling us blu ray is future proof top of the market greatness!
it does not make financial sense " are you kidding me!the drain of manufacturing costs will start to drag heavy supporting both formats.the only way to offset these costs is to the consumer.
high def dvd is on a knife edge with the public as it is.
extra cost will do nothing to help so dropping the extra cost of producing blu ray is really the only way forward.
its about money always has always will its that simple.
buy the way before you all jump up to bite my ass i have both formats yet the only people that shout how great blu ray is the ps3 fanboys
to me there is no difference apart from blu being tempremental
in my case the loading time is great.my projection screen takes about 30 seconds to roll itself down and my projector takes about 25 seconds to boot then the dvd player takes about 30 seconds from switch on.all in all its all ready in 35 seconds maximum.just enough time to get out the way sit down and enjoy the movie.
high definition cartoons its a game of my pencil line is thinner than yours?
ill just get normal simpsons dvd and upscale the pencil lines on my toshy hd dvd no problem then look on in ahw at the shear scale of blue ray showing me the extra hair on homers balding head (amazing not)
spot on i just wish people would use there head and not there heart
reading between the lines samsung are now saying hd dvd is around to stay and maybe supporting bluray soley is a bad move?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I need help! I want a small pocket camcorder but I'm not sure which one to get. I don't want to fall into the hype of the Flip because I worry two hours won't be enough. What should I be looking for when considering a small camcorder and where can I get a good quality one with expandable memory? Thanks!"
