This really made me quite upset. I had such high hopes, and last night they all came crashing down. Not only did I get numerous error messages before I was ever able to download Lumines, but once I did I was left empty. The FULL version is anything but. The levels started over in a rotation (read: micropayments for additional levels). The lag on the multiplayer makes it nearly unplayable, and the control is simply bad.

The control feels soft and a little sluggish. The beaty of the PSP version is that once you put some headphones on, you are in control of everything in the Lumines universe... Your moves seem to dictate the music (which now seems more mainstream and less pulsating and entrancing than the PSP version) and blocks move and fall where you want them to. This version feels like the dancer who is a quarter step behind and just looks wrong.

I wanted this to be great, but the last 48 hours of XBox have gotten me a little more amped about the PS3.
I had Comcast, but it switched to Time Warner in Dallas. Now I hate it. the updated software causes my box to crash multiple times a day... So what should I do? Dish currently has more HD offerings, but DirecTV is supposedly going to blow them away within the next year...

I'll have to say my fav is through some sort of dish, I just can't make up my mind on which one yet.
New way to hold the Playstation Wii Wiimote:

Turn it sideways, where pinky, ring, and middle finger cover the usb
the index finger covers R triggers
thumb rests someshere near D-stick and X, 0, square, and triangle

you are now holding the PSWiimote like a gun.

Might not be as ergonomic as the Wii, but an interesting way to think about 1handed play for the PSWii
Belkin earbud holders- blue
I hope it is a leather case for the new macbooks!
It is going to be a US phone... more info on the website, along with another new phone.

I'm sad... CES got me sooo excited, I've got my money hoarded and ready to put down on an SED... and now what?

Here is what I'm thinking: Samsung's LED DLP... looks great, long life, no rainbow.

Anyone have any suggestions for a good smaller flat screen for the beadroom?
I don't want one of those.

(so why did you post... do we give it to him or not?)
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a pair of quality headphones that aren't seemingly made of glass. I'm an avid BMXer which causes me to frequently bash on any type of technology that joins me for my daily riding. I've been through the higher quality headsets in the Skullcandy line as these are supposed to be built for "abuse," which is laughable. I cant wear earbuds or canal buds, as my large ears seem to have a repelling property upon anything that sits in them. Wired or Bluetooth doesn't really matter, but I need something that can hold up to taking a few hits every now and again. I'm trying to keep 'em under $150. Thanks!"
