I have to go with ds on this. You guys are defending this guy as if he actually asked a question. Read his comment. He didn't really ask a question unless you count "wouldnt you have to start it up and select all your music and whatever then drive off". I think if he would've actually asked the boot time he would've got a general answer. His statement was completely rhetorical. Read it again if you disagree. He stated "and standby would drain the battery" which is completely stupid and caused the snarky comments.
When I asked about pricing, the Comcast rep i spoke to told me they were "pointless"... so no I do not have one
"You need to re-read the article. Jean-Michel predited that they would be dominate in the market UNDER 40-inches."

um... reading comprehension

"Mr Pelaprat predicted LCD TVs would come to dominate the market below 40 inches, and laser television the market above that screen size, displacing plasma."

The battery life went from 8 hours to 6 hours? ouch..
Anyone in the market for HDMI cables (or any cables) should seriously check out monoprice.com. Not trying to advertise for them, but seeing people post these prices for HDMI cables just makes me feel bad. They have HDMI cables from 1' to 100' at $5-$130. I have been using a 35' HDMI cable from them for almost a year that I paid $40 shipped for. At the stores those were in the $200+ range at the time if you were lucky enough to find one.

"I need help! I want a small pocket camcorder but I'm not sure which one to get. I don't want to fall into the hype of the Flip because I worry two hours won't be enough. What should I be looking for when considering a small camcorder and where can I get a good quality one with expandable memory? Thanks!"
