I'm sorry, but Macs are nowhere near the price of traditional Windows-base computers. They haven't been in several years and I doubt they will be for years to come.

Quoting Tom's Hardware? They haven't been a source for accurate info in years. Typical TUAW...posting ridiculous stories for page hits. Actually, you guys and Tom's should team up. Same ideals.
@Zews - Nope, BoxOffice uses the Rotten Tomatoes ratings. I've never used Movies.app, so I can't comment on that.
Engadget (and TUAW, while I'm at it), I beg of you guys. Instead of posting a knee-jerk reaction that comes from skimming an article, in this case Tom's, try doing some research before you post. You HAVE to know half-ass write-ups like Nilay's here make you look like a two-bit mom and pop blog.
What is worse, posting crap articles just for the money, or posting crap articles, period. There is absolutely zero proof where these photos were taken. Yet Erica, as usual, posts something without the slightest bit of research.
'Apple's retail site shows absolutely zero iPhone availability in the US'

Perhaps you should actually look before claiming this as truth. Don't go turning into TUAW. Apple's availability website shows SEVERAL stores with iPhones in stock. In fact, I would go so far as to say that the majority of Apple stores have some type of iPhone available.
No problem typing any of these words, including Flickr, on my US iPhone. Seriously TUAW, do you guys ever research anything sent to you by readers? I have my doubts.
Does your company even give you the option to forward mail to a non-corp email address? More importantly, most companies will say it is against their security policy, as all email sent with a corp address belongs to the company. If you haven't already, I'd suggest finding out. Violating the security policy usually results in termination.
I'd assume Light is supposed to turn the screen brightness up? Too bad it doesn't work.
My mail app works fine after updating to 2.0. Adding mobileme accounts also works
This isn't true at all. In fact you'll find just the opposite; most receivers will do HDMI upscaling
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I have a MacBook Pro and an Xbox 360 and I would like to get a 20- to 24-inch display that will support both devices. The speakers should be inbuilt, or there should be an aux out on the display to hook up external speakers. Help! Please!"
