I bought the 64 GB model at Fry's for $125 (after rebate). It included a USB enclosure for the 2.5 inch SATA drive I was replacing. Now I have a laptop with 64 GB SSD plus a portable drive for backup! Works great with Windows 7.
Jeff, It isn't an etirely new motherboard, but rather a daughter-card with CPU+RAM on it. To upgrade RAM, this card has to be replaced with a new one, so most likely it won't be a DIY option.
This is precisely the reason I gave up on Mini 12 (and now Mini 10) and went with Samsung. The CPU-plus-RAM card means that I can't replace/upgrade just the RAM, I have to buy a whole new daughter card (most likely from Dell only).
My current MacBook with 2.0GHz Core2Duo has a 4MB shared cache, and the new entry level (2.1GHz) has 3MB shared? I'll take 1MB cache over 0.1GHz anytime.
"I am looking for a device that will stream sound from one source to several recipients. For example, I want to stream sound from my TV or stereo to my phone or MP3 player that has radio and Bluetooth capabilities. I have looked into radio transmitters and they seem like a decent choice, but I can't find one that uses external power (USB or from the plug) and I would want one with a transmit range of around 50 meters. Thanks!"
