"Solid Metal Brick" is "entirely welcome" & "Nike+ inclusion is huge" don't exactly go together.
They may be smoking the good stuff, but I bet they stayed at a holiday inn express last night.

Hey, ticketmaster wants in on stubhub like sales. People think Apple's missing the boat by not capitalizing on unlocked iphones going for $700 around the world. What bestbuy is doing is cutting out the middleman's middleman by offering a device for an ebay-like price *with* warranty. Seems pretty smart to me.
What's wrong with the Zune software? For me, it's much snappier than iTunes, and less 'spreadsheet' fugly. But I cannot say enough about how slow iTunes is. 3.5 Gigs of ram with no other apps running should make any app feel spry. iTunes doesn't.

Of course, I use my Zune software much more than iTunes, so I may be missing something. Just my opinion people, not flame war bait. I honestly want to know what people dislike about the software.
I wouldn't mind a free media center extender for my bedroom. Only engadget can turn a free 360 into a complaint.
I remember people telling me the same thing 10 years ago when I said mp3s @ 128 sounds better than 96kbps. Some people could hear a difference, some couldn't. And of the one's who could, only some cared. To each his own. ;)
ignatius: It's also obvious that a minor difference in sound quality probably isn't worth the sacrifice of playing games.

It can't be obvious, and probably not worth the sacrifice at the same time. The audio difference is like 160kbps vs lossless. TrueHD has much greater resolution than standard DVDs, and TrueHD downgraded to dolby digital or dts. There is a difference mostly during dialog and the movie scores. Huge explosions, not so much (like deep bass in 160kbps & lossless). Games on the PS3 don't sell me. If this had TrueHD analog out I'd get it over the PS3. To each his own.

@David Ron. Screw overpriced Monster cable, especially with digital connects. For the most part, digital is digital is digital and generally stays bit for bit. Terrible cables can muck it up a little though.
No TrueHD analog output = no sale.

I'm an audio junkie. I have a great system that handles everything but HDMI. Sony, give me some high quality dacs and analog output and I will give you money.
Encarta helped out a ton with my middle school and high school homework. But yeah, windows being available on lots of hardware allowed prices to go down, productivity to go up, and games for a little somethin somethin on the side.
Ahem, failed to mention Zune can sync Media Center shows (at least they can now).
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I need help! I want a small pocket camcorder but I'm not sure which one to get. I don't want to fall into the hype of the Flip because I worry two hours won't be enough. What should I be looking for when considering a small camcorder and where can I get a good quality one with expandable memory? Thanks!"
