Ha, I totally didn't need to click through to guess the address of that store. Talk about distinctive neighborhoods.
An excellent game. I was getting worried for a while with Gearbox projects getting shelved left and right, I'm glad they shipped a title and have met with positive reviews and sales. Got to keep that cash flowing.
I don't think they were ever bought by Bioware, IIRC Pandemic and Bioware were both bought simultaneously by Bono's "Elevation Partners" venture capital firm, and rolled into one self-regulating studio because, shocker, Bono knows nothing about making videogames.

Hopefully everyone got to cash their checks along the way, the seeds of this have been a long time growing :(
Earth Shattering Announcement:

Three-quarters of the guys at Infinity Ward of sick of taking Activision's guff, and they're going to form a new studio that, under EA's partner program, will develop future iterations of the Medal of Honor franchise :)
It's not a league, it's a promotion.

We'll see how long they can survive the curse of Fedor. Werdum still has some fight left in him. The heavyweight division has been the weak one for years, so it's hardly a useful comparison. Sobral was a worthy LHW champion, so I've got to at least respect Mousasi. Beyond that, there isn't much to talk about.

Strikeforce used to have a history of putting together "exciting cards" (full of one-sided contests that ended with knockouts or subs instead of decisions). You can't really play that game with titles, which probably explains why they ended up with so few title defenses in general. They aren't even starting to call the shots anymore though. CBS/Showtime is running it in the US, and M-1 is running everything else. When it's over, they'll sue Scott Coker for his bones (witness EliteXC and Affliction).
As known years ago by those who've read the books.

Shit, I just admitted that I've read them.
GAAP is so last year. All the popular companies are moving to IFRS.
Doom turning into a pixely mess as the Pinky attacked was brilliant.
The second game is launching on two platforms instead of one, with an install base that's easily three times (if not significantly more than) what the first had available.

I think it's possible.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"What is the best wireless surround sound speaker solution? I have a home theater where running wires is just not feasible. I have my own speakers, so I don't want a system that has speakers with integrated wireless. I've done a far amount of research and have only come across a few companies that even offer a reasonable solution: KEF, Kenwood and Rocketfish. Is there anything else out there? What do you recommend? Thank you!"
