Blu-Ray will go away just like the CD. What happened to the music industry is what's going to happen to Hollywood. They just don't see what's coming. Unfortunately, for Hollywood it looks like the are repeating the same mistakes the record execs made. Case in point, is the attempt to ban DVD rentals to Redbox.
Hey Engadget, does it have a "speaker" or a "microphone". A microphone might be more useful for taking video. Definitely need to see some specs.
For almost the same money, you could get a MacMini with Core2Duo and 9400M. Lenovo needs to step up. This will probably choke on 1080pmkvs and will be noticeable slow ripping/encoding.
You can buy a TV with a built in DVD player as well, but why? I have an amp, Satellite DVR, DVD Player, and Wii. No big deal adding an extender to the rack. Plus if the extender dies, I just get another extender -- not have to deal with repairing the whole TV.
I think I'll wait till January 2010. I'm sure by then newegg will be selling an OEM W7 Ultimate for the near $100 range.

I was starting to buy into your argument until your last paragraph. You should have stopped while you were ahead. Anyhow, now we know how you really think about the "little people".
What if my cell phone signal AND WiFi signal suck inside my house. Can I plug my cell phone into one of these???
This allows your DVR to pick up local OTA HDTV channels that D* might not otherwise carry. A good example is in my area there is no PBS in HD on D*. I could buy this tuner if I had the HR21 and the DVR would be able to RECORD. Also not everyone has a HDTV that was bought in the last 3 years. My Panny Plasma was purchased in 2002.
Popcorn hour cost les$179 and runs circles around this POS.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"With all the new multitouch capable monitors coming out, which one is the best? With the release of Windows 7 I really want a touchscreen monitor for my desktop. I'm looking to get a Full HD monitor that supports multitouch and can still look great during gaming and movies. Which one has the best specs for the price?"
