Why would a movie watcher be so passionate about a physical media format? I think he's an idiot. But so are all the Truth Teller and Nfinitys out there. At least he's in the industry. I've seen you support both of those idiots, and seen your red for life posts as well. Michael Bay is clearly an idiot for what he's been saying, and has made maybe two good movies, and a slew of garbage. I would disagree that content solely won this war. I think the PS3 won the war. To be honest, I support Blu Ray, but didn't until just before the Warner announcement. I was actually going to get a HD DVD player but last minute switched. The fact is HD DVD had far better movie selection before Warner's switch. Not in numbers but in quality. Transformers, Matrix, V for Vendetta, Bourne etc; Universal, Paramount, and Warner are clearly the three most important studios and they had all 3. It is because of Sony's ability to get players in with the PS3 that won this, not content.
