Mass transit has enough problems in Oregon already. The problem is finding the space to actually have a train. Currently the MAX is limited to 1 car because it takes such hard turns it can't have more then one car. Also there have been HUGE safety problems with the MAX and it has been left up to concerned citizens to ride the train at night to help people feel comfortable. Course these problems require thought and the decisions are difficult. It is far easier to come up with an annoying tax system related to driving, ask former Gov. Gray Davis how that worked out for him.
I have one sitting in my bedroom right now. Netflix streaming works pretty well, though it is SD and not upscaled like DVDs. Hard to compare it to my other blu-ray as they are hooked up to different plasma tvs. Ultimately I'm very happy with it for 349. Btw if you have a DIR-655 router you'll need to downgrade your firmware to 1.1 for the netflix streaming to work. This is also true for the Roku player.
I am pretty tired of these one sided school yard stories from OLPC guys. Basically OLPC said to Intel, "You can only use our laptops and not sell any XOs. They cannot compete with each other." And OLPC said, "But we already made commitments to other countries, suppliers, and customers we can't just go back on all of them." Then OLPC said to the world, "Intel is evil they only want to make money and they don't care about kids!" Seriously WHAT has OLPC done for ANYONE! At least Intel has put machines in peoples hands. Goodnight people it isn't like OLPC isn't in it for the money.

"What is the best wireless surround sound speaker solution? I have a home theater where running wires is just not feasible. I have my own speakers, so I don't want a system that has speakers with integrated wireless. I've done a far amount of research and have only come across a few companies that even offer a reasonable solution: KEF, Kenwood and Rocketfish. Is there anything else out there? What do you recommend? Thank you!"
