Hopefully this will finally bring my HD locals. We are 117 on the list but there seems to be numbers higher up the list that has their HD locals already.
Better check your sources... BDP-S300 does do uncompressed audio! I wasn't speaking of TrueHD.

I really do believe consumers chose. When I was first looking at Blu-ray, players were $1000, but I knew Blu-ray was the way I wanted to go. When Sony came out with their new model at $500, I jumped on board. I LOVE my uncompressed audio. Only buy movies that has PCM 5.1

I very easily could have gone with HD-DVD if they offered PCM 5.1 as well.
I noticed that SamsClub only has Blu-ray titles. Not that I care as its cheaper from Amazon anyway. They also only carry Blu-ray players.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just moved into a new apartment and have been reading about all of the new power strips out there, especially the green ones. I was wondering if you had any suggestions about which "green "power strips are out there with decent joules ratings. And when I say green, I mean power strips that have the remotes or switches to turn off all electricity flowing to certain plugs and with at least 2 plugs that are always on. I was looking specifically at sub $50 because I will need two, but if that is not possible I could be convinced otherwise. Thanks!"
