How would moving over to SDV affect the TVs in my house that are connected directly to the cable, and are receiving analog?
I currently have a CM 4228 antenna, but using the tvfool.com website I saw that some of the UHF channels will move to VHF after Feb 2009.

The specs for the 4228 indicate that it is a UHF antenna. Would I have to change my antenna?
Of course LCD will outsell plasma. LCDs come in all sizes, whereas plasma can only be purchased in sizes 42" and above. It is only fair to compare the sales for LCD and Plasma in the 42+ category.

I have a feeling LCD will probably still win, but not by this large margin.
Since I use a HTPC, I plan to keep my xbox 360 add-on, and buy a spare. The best thing about HTPC is that I can rip the movie and play it back. After all, codecs are what matter, and since H264 and VC-1 aren't going anywhere I don't think I should be worried.

The only movie purchases I regret are the Planet Earth series and Ultimate Matrix collection. However, I think it has more to do with the fact I have yet to watch either of them. Most of my other movies I got for free. Firesale here I come!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"What is the best wireless surround sound speaker solution? I have a home theater where running wires is just not feasible. I have my own speakers, so I don't want a system that has speakers with integrated wireless. I've done a far amount of research and have only come across a few companies that even offer a reasonable solution: KEF, Kenwood and Rocketfish. Is there anything else out there? What do you recommend? Thank you!"
