Speaking from a Dyslexic point-of-view: having your text books converted to a audible support format is VERY helpful. We still want to read our books, it's just that I know I need a little coaxing along the process. A spoken "coach" makes the whole reading experience so much more rewarding and pleasant. This is the primary reason I've considered a Kindle, but when I heard that the Books-On-Tape author's union were scared into suing Amazon - they didn't get it, this is for reading assistance, NOT replacing a Books-on-Tape offering.

Us ɔıxǝןsʎp reader really need this option - nook bad, Kindle good...
Now all they need to add is a simple rear-light function - but then the Electrical Lamp Workers union would probably balk.
@DogStar
Amazing! Beautiful detail and rhythm. Perfect.
Yeah, ugly does best describe this product... not the Kindle.
I love the Phoenix story of Sharp! They almost singlehandedly revived their entire business with their commitment to superior quality panels - so good in fact that competitors ended up re-gifting their product. Congratulations Sharp!
@Nilay Patel
I was bummed that you didn't change my name to animill just to rile me. :-)
Brilliant! Change your prospective client's products' names and perhaps change the name of the client too! Just because your "style" dpt feels hurt by non-conventional spelng or CaPusage. Not brilliant! Nothing pisses off marketing types more than having their brand modified for no reason other than it bothers you... There's a reason we alter our product and title names - to emphasize its existence!
@HustleHard101

I too have the Instinct (we get no respect) and have the same thoughts. I purchased the Hero for my wife and we really like it. But I'm waiting (and hoping) that the Dragon or HD2 will be headed over to Sprint. I really want the Dragon with its Sense & Android, but I don't think its going to happen. So come next year I'm probably going to switch to the Hero too (come on Dragon!).
If you are not amazed, then you don't get it - beautiful visuals, design and production value that compels the viewer to want to see more. My only gripe is the V/O at the end was soooo clinical. Only visuals please! But if they HAD to do a V/O (because we know that someone in HP marketing didn't "get it" and had to add their opinion) they should have used a woman's more sensual voice or at least a more gentle tag.

I'm betting all CGI too - but if it wasn't, I want to see the models and a "behind the scenes" of the production. This along with the light-tracer Nano spots and the BlackBerry phones made of media spots are my favorites!

Good Job HP!
Ahhhh, good'ol Radio Shack. How many great memories I have: TRS-80, actual bread-board components, SPL meters, huge multi-channel portable CBs... And now look what you've become - the Sharper Image of Wal-Mart level gadgets. But now you've got your iPhone - welcome to the 21st century.
Just be patient on Intel - they are pushing our envelope, and I'm happy they are! I just purchased/installed the Patriot Torqx SSD and I'm amazed by the impact. A few months ago I added a little OCZ drive to my Acer One netbook as my first test - I'm never looking back. So yesterday I yanked my two Raptor 300GB drives and installed the Torqx. Phenomenal difference - Win7 flies! My only regret, 128GB just doens't cut it and the 256's are AWOL... so today I'll receive another 128GB Torqx and RAID-0 'em. But believe me, the drives are fast enough already - RAID-0 is only to make them act as one drive (but better than JBOD).

SSDs are where CD's were in the 80's - at first people were cautious and they were expensive, but then they dominated and obliterated the LP in no-time. I agree, the old reliable spinning discs need to go. Sorry WD.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I've found myself using my PC for a lot of conversations lately, and I'm also considering recording a podcast to share with anyone who will listen. There are tons of USB headset / microphones out there, and I'm hoping someone has some solid recommendations based on experience. I'll consider both headsets and standalone mics, by the way, but I'd like to keep the bill under $100 if possible. Help!"
