"Who here actually uses Rhapsody, or Sonos, or eBooks on their phone? Get real. Sure people download it, but do they use it? Hell. no."

Actually I do (except the eBooks part). I use my Sonos app to control my system far more often than I use the actual remote because my phone is always at hand, and I frequently use my Rhapsody app in the car and have even used it for some spur of the moment DJing at a party.
Just make it AT&T and T-Mobile 3G compatible and let me buy it unlocked. That's all I ask.
Questions is, after they lose exclusivity will they start unlocking the damn things!?
Give to daddy.
I really wish these phone companies would get down to offering unlocked versions on their websites. I don't want to wait around to see if this is ever going to show up in the US. Just put it on the HTC site and lemme buy it already!
This would be a lot better if it had all the major networks on it. I've had phones with FloTV on it before and found it to be a boon when the kids got cranky waiting for a table at a restaurant or an appointment at a doctor's office. Since the iPhone doesn't have this capability, I wouldn't have an issue buying one of these and paying the $9 monthly fee to keep it in the glove compartment or something. The big question for me is the battery life.
Or, yanno, you could just pick up a Sonos (preferred) or a Logitech Duet. Just sayin'...
@Josh

The best part of that article is this sentence, "AT&T says it has no intention of capping how much data iPhone owners use." Tethering with no data cap? I'll wait for that! :)
Oh, yeah! After a series of ad blunders Sony hits it out of the park! Love these!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am looking for a device that will stream sound from one source to several recipients. For example, I want to stream sound from my TV or stereo to my phone or MP3 player that has radio and Bluetooth capabilities. I have looked into radio transmitters and they seem like a decent choice, but I can't find one that uses external power (USB or from the plug) and I would want one with a transmit range of around 50 meters. Thanks!"
