I got one about 6 months ago that was a 42" 1080p LCD Vizio for $599!! I got it from best buy when they were selling 42" 720p LCD magnevox for 699, but with the rebate is was only 599 and since they didn't have any magnevoxes or any 720p Vizios around, they gave us a 1080p 42" Vizio! That was probably one of the best days of my life. ;-)

BTW: I live in the US not Canada, so I don't know if it would be slightly different for you or not.

But the electrician thought it was static electricity, not magnetism, and static electricity doesn't distort the picture on a CRT monitor.
