Are you serious? That could cause hard disk corruption and various other errors. That's why it takes a few seconds for it to shut down properly.
Eeck! Times New Roman! A lot of italic Times! Tiny fonts! Text presented as images! Text presented as images with no ALT text! What's going on?!
I was at the Armageddon Expo and had to try and get the PS3 the game was running on to be reset. The guy manning the stall just said "I always get asked to reset that one."

Still, it's framerate when being at the top of the tower is better than AC1 on the PS3...
It's sucks though that the What's New section hides the sparkles :( I still want sparkles when I look at What's New!
You could in the first game O_o
I played my friends copies of Scene It? and wasn't impressed. Buzz had all the glitz of a gameshow, the music, the eccentric host... Scene It was a boring version of Buzz with none of that (but with very lame hosts, and then they had 2 in BOS which made it even worse!)

I'll have my Buzz! Quiz World later this year, thanks.
If Sony are going to continually release these minor updates, then they need to start working towards a patch-based update system, rather than a complete firmware reinstall everytime they want to improve the "playback quality" of games.

Strange, though, how this is bumped up to 2.80, usually a "playback quality" enhancement is a .x1 or something.
They were referring to their experiences developing with the Eye Toy, which was the original motion controller way back on the PS2 which didn't require a controller in your hands (your body was the controller... wow!). I think they have much more experience with that sort of tech than Microsoft does (Eye Toy was first demoed in 2002). They were probably justifying why they went with the approach they did, as opposed to the original use of the Eye Toy/PlayStation Eye.
@Brendan H
So, it's an Eye Toy/PlayStation Eye? That's working out well for Sony after both attempts...
Cripes, I'm in NZ and pre-ordered the special edition weeks ago. Didn't realise that no one knew about it til now.

"I'm looking for a pair of quality headphones that aren't seemingly made of glass. I'm an avid BMXer which causes me to frequently bash on any type of technology that joins me for my daily riding. I've been through the higher quality headsets in the Skullcandy line as these are supposed to be built for "abuse," which is laughable. I cant wear earbuds or canal buds, as my large ears seem to have a repelling property upon anything that sits in them. Wired or Bluetooth doesn't really matter, but I need something that can hold up to taking a few hits every now and again. I'm trying to keep 'em under $150. Thanks!"
