Thusly is not a word.
At this point the DS2 will be more powerful than the Wii
Meh, they go over the lines :P
It's one thing to decide not to release a netbook but it's something else entirely to specifically block the netbook processor. Oh well, c'est la vie. Good job protecting the large profit margin macbook.
The way they're rendered is called tiling. The polygons that are not seen are not rendered. It was an old PowerVR tech and the last bit of "gift" 3dfx gave it's customers before being industrial espionaged by NVIDIA. Anyway I think what killed the Dreamcast was a lack of copy protection. Most games fit on a regular CD-ROM and the console could play any "backups" without resorting to a mod chip or bootloader.
Agreed.

I have a Phenom X3 and it IS overkill for my SageTV server. However, it's a monster for H.264 comskip. I would be willing to sacrifice that a little bit to go down from 95w to 45w.
Basically what you're saying is that geeks have no hope of ever getting 44 watts out of the thing, heh.
Does anyone ever win in these things?
I see you have a PREdisposition to these type of words. So what's PREventing her from imPREssing her will on us? Nevermind... I see you answered that question PREviously in your post.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
