sometimes the great thing about things such as this is the shear simplicity of it. He's a guy that went around the world dancing. Nothing more. I like it and I salute him. It takes great discipline to be a free spirit, to not care about your personal possessions or well being. Its hard to be yourself no matter what no matter when. Thats why there are so few. I struggle to make ends me these days, but I'd happily contribute money to his cause.

I remarked to someone 10 years ago that the world needed another Bob Marley. Someone who strived for peace and harmony, who transcended racial and socio-political/economical boundaries. I think though I was wrong. What the world needs is people like this. Who shed their material desires to do something good for humanity. His legacy will be what he did, notwho he was. I applaud that.
i think its a good deal. i would think with safari loaded that a bt keyboard would be supported, but i don't know. if it does i'd plunk 60 for it. if it could enable an external drive, i'd pay 100 easy. my only hold up on the atv is the hard drive. i want at least 250gb. sounds like i need to investigate this further.
i totally agree, the mkv gti is about 3300 lbs. knock 1/3rd of that off and i bet the mileage would improve.

its odd that manufacturers want to make fuel efficient cars, yet the cars get larger and heavier model year after model year.
yes, on 91, which is the best i can get here. but .20 more a gallon, thats like 2.80 per TANK. not that big of a deal when its 50 to fill it.

I'm quite happy with the gas mileage, plus the car is fun to drive. what more could you ask for?
my GTI 2.0T, if driven conservatively has gotten me 31+ mpg (6spd, 2 door). The diesel is a better deal out the door, but american attitudes are different.

"I just moved into a new apartment and have been reading about all of the new power strips out there, especially the green ones. I was wondering if you had any suggestions about which "green "power strips are out there with decent joules ratings. And when I say green, I mean power strips that have the remotes or switches to turn off all electricity flowing to certain plugs and with at least 2 plugs that are always on. I was looking specifically at sub $50 because I will need two, but if that is not possible I could be convinced otherwise. Thanks!"
