Absolute shame. Quality & niche programming that was ahead of it's time. Moron detractors are just that.
Anybody partnering with Charlie Ergan is a complete idiot. Dish Network is a mess. The only people that enjoy it are the people too stupid to admit Disk stinks because they are paying $150/mo - the rest of us are trapped in our contract while they marketing us the same dog and pony show and increase rates.

I never thought I'd see the day I regretted leaving Cable.
Thanks Jimmy - really appreciate you taking the time to answer.

Now I understand!
:)
I get a kick out of engads tongue-in-cheek cynicism in the article introduction....I feel the same way...

One thing I have never understood - and this may not be the place to ask, but I'm going to - is explain the relationship between screen resolution and the distance from the viewer? And add to that Mr E. comments regarding finding something to drive it at it's native resolution?
I don't see this as excess at all... Theaters should be a place to theme and have fun with.

Look back a few months to the guy that poured (read wasted) millions of dollars into a home theater only to have the movie obscured by the blue glow of all the equipment.

This, on the other hand, is an absolutely fun and enjoyable application of Home Theater design.

Kudos!
I see no problem with bringing up those involved on pedophielia charges. That might finally send the message. Parents pimping out their children and paparazzi all too happy to oblige in the name of art.

At what point does Leibovitz think she's creating art? She obviously has no children of her own - or she might have morals.

Great contest! Love some engadget hd!

"I am looking for a device that will stream sound from one source to several recipients. For example, I want to stream sound from my TV or stereo to my phone or MP3 player that has radio and Bluetooth capabilities. I have looked into radio transmitters and they seem like a decent choice, but I can't find one that uses external power (USB or from the plug) and I would want one with a transmit range of around 50 meters. Thanks!"
