@Doug

You sir, are a gentleman and a scholar. Thank you!
Please?
Nope, I like it too.
Not to mention that even with all that power, it still looked a bit laggy at times. I'll continue waiting for a Tegra-based phone personally. Hopefully one with a decent looking GUI too.
I occasionally use the phone while driving. This whole thing seems ridiculous to me, we already have a law against reckless driving. Why do we need more?
I'd be willing to sacrifice a little of that gas mileage for a little more get-up-and-go...you know?
Looks like a 2000 Toyota MR2 Spyder:
You wouldn't technically be paying for your neighbor's car. Your neighbor would just be getting some of the money he's paid in to the tax system back. Just because you don't have a beater and can't get some of your tax money back doesn't mean you're paying for your neighbor.
I like this idea if there's a system in place for recycling as much of the clunker as possible. I think the car companies in general could reduce manufacturing costs if they spent a little time thinking about how to recycle old cars. Its a great incentive to buy a new one which could keep the profit cycle a little more regular.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I have a MacBook Pro and an Xbox 360 and I would like to get a 20- to 24-inch display that will support both devices. The speakers should be inbuilt, or there should be an aux out on the display to hook up external speakers. Help! Please!"
