ive had this for abotu 2 weeks now. I got this because i was sick of re-encoding my anime so that my ps3 could stream it. Let me tell you, this thing RCOKS!. With the exception of vorbis audio codec, this thing has played every video format i have put into it without a single problem.

Sure, it doesnt do thumbnails at all whcih is dissappointing, but i have all my anime seperated into different folders which it sees, so that makes it easier to scroll threw.

The only flaw i see is that theres no ethernet hookup which would have made it easier to do firmware updates and also stream from computer instead of getting another external hd. But i have a nice 500gb drive conncted to it and it reads and plays off it without any issues.

One thing i noticed people bitch about is that problem if you shut off a movie you have to ff or skip chapters to get back to your spot. I dont know what they mean by that. I turn this device off in middle of movies when i have to go out and it ask me if i want to resume it when i go back to it which it does no problem.

So if anyone does anime and wants a easy way to watch it on the tv, this is deff the device for you. Oh man, sony ps3 has got compitition now. Booya
Nevermind the fact, i have verizon fios, and they only charge ONE price for ALL thier HD channels unlike RCN and Comcast where u have to pay more for different HD options. Hum, thats a hard one, 45.00 for all HD channels on fios, or 45 for basic HD on competiters + anohter 15-20 for another set of 10 hd channels that suck, and more for good hd channels
hey, this works for me. Bestbuy had a 1 day sale on their 73" mitubishi hdtvs and knocked 1000 off. I got mine for 2k instead of 3. So my black friday came early, lol
personally, id love to see the following on BD

Neverending story 1 & 2
Flight of the Navigator
Labyrinth

lets get those classics otu there, and hey, lets leave the deleted footage from NES1 in the movie this time like the german version, damn usa editors
and the fact, unlike us who got our ps3s first day they were out, the new systems cannot and will not play ps1 or ps2 games. UNlike ours where there was a patch released so that we could, my friend bought one and sony pretty much said tough shit. So who would spend 400+ on a system that isnt backwards compatiable. My friend went and got a wii instead
ya, they will prob go aroudn and resell them on thier outlet center part of the site for like 10.00 a piece making even more profit. No thanks. just give me my 150.00 and piss off
Ya, who could have seen this coming. Oh wait, all of us Red people did. I support both formats, but hey, where i was paying 20-25 for new blu releases, now my local bestbuys are charging 30-40 for pretty much all blu movies. What a shocker!
ya, how about some scifi HD and usa network hd and wow, heres a shocker, ppv HD
oh ya, cause i really watch those 4 channels. I know me and prob 90% of my friends requested sci-fi and usa network in HD as well as ppv HD. and they nice enough to ignore us and give us this shit? These people suck, no wonder eveyrone in my town switching to comcast or dish
Last hurrah indeed. Really, last big release. Thats funny, I am legend is a big release and thats coming out on HDdvd soon. As well as ONE MISSED CALL, BEOWOLF, CLOVERFIELD, and others. Hum, for a dead format, there seems to be quite some good relases coming out in the next few months.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"With all the new multitouch capable monitors coming out, which one is the best? With the release of Windows 7 I really want a touchscreen monitor for my desktop. I'm looking to get a Full HD monitor that supports multitouch and can still look great during gaming and movies. Which one has the best specs for the price?"
