The word."Schmuck" is German and it means both decoration and JEWEL as says my up-to-date dictionary and my good friend from Frankfurt a Main. Yiddish just borrowed it as it did with most of the German language.

The idiot was the one who used it.
I object to your use of the word, "schmuck." It is a very rude and vulgar word. It's from the German and means "Jewel." However, the derogatory meaning has to do with a certain part of the male anatomy.

I'm sure your vocabulary is big enough to find and use a more suitable word(s).
Ah! But does it have two front mounted machine guns like the Messerschmidt. Oh, I forgot that was the ME109 not the two-cycle engined cockpit canopy of the three wheeler of the same name back in 1955.

And in the Fall when Laser HD hits you in the eye, it's Plasma goodbye!
I have an on going complaint about your use of acronyms HDM HUSPA et alia. I'm not a geek and plan to keep it that way. Therefore have to constantly look up the myriad of initials.

In each article please write out the full name once. I still may want to look it up or reject it as being unimportant to me. Otherwise, your techie comments are like so much Chinese.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
