@JayMonster Because it is much easier pinch/zoom than it is to Tap Tap Tap. It is an intuitive feel and it is natural when making the movement (and I don't own an iPhone but a Pre). Not to mention, it is much faster than tapping in or out of zoom.

Love the Droid and have one of those too. The Dolphine is better than the stock webkit.
AT&T is migrating to LTE not too far in the future. T-Mobile has been demonstrating LTE since last year. I believe that a carrier partnership could be happening but not the way a lot of people think. Perhaps leasing towers and such but T-Mobile Europe may just make a bid for Ma Bell.
Too bad Nokia beat you to it Palm on the N900. I thought we would have it first..sigh.
I second that. Much better than the first. Palm should ask for a refund from the first dude.
Can I has on the Palm Pre please!

@Skeezle No Linux!
$149.99 at Target stores with instant MIR.
Agreed. Phone makers need to compete which brings innovation = better phones for the masses. In time, and a very short amount of it, we will see better and better OS's loaded on better hardware. Apple, Android, WinMo & Palm have all provided us with a glimpse of the future.
Two of my buds already received their online orders for the N900 and are happily pleased. What's the deal?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a pair of quality headphones that aren't seemingly made of glass. I'm an avid BMXer which causes me to frequently bash on any type of technology that joins me for my daily riding. I've been through the higher quality headsets in the Skullcandy line as these are supposed to be built for "abuse," which is laughable. I cant wear earbuds or canal buds, as my large ears seem to have a repelling property upon anything that sits in them. Wired or Bluetooth doesn't really matter, but I need something that can hold up to taking a few hits every now and again. I'm trying to keep 'em under $150. Thanks!"
