You sometimes have to reboot the receiver to get video..I wasnt getting video on a couple of the new channels and a box reboot did the trick.
Yup, everything that was promised I see live this morning in Howard Beach, Queens. Fox News is tomorrow I think as well.
Manhattan is getting new HD on April 30th too, but not as much as Brooklyn and Queens:

In Brooklyn and Queens we will launch A&E HD on ch. 746, ABC Family HD on ch. 738, Animal Planet HD on ch. 786, CNN HD on ch. 710, Discovery HD on ch. 766, Disney HD on 749, ESPN News HD on ch. 792, Food Network HD on ch. 750, Fox Business News HD on ch. 743, Hallmark Movie Channel HD on ch. 784, HGTV HD on ch. 764 , History Channel HD on ch. 740, The Learning Channel HD on 752, Lifetime Movies HD on ch. 762, M HD will launch on ch. 720, MLB HD on ch. 791 and 445, NHL Network HD on ch. 795, the previously announced NY1 HD will launch on ch. 701, Science Channel HD on ch. 775, TMC HD on ch.778, Toon Disney HD on ch. 787, Travel Channel HD on ch.788, Versus/Golf HD on ch. 794, Weather Channel HD on ch. 772 and WE will change from DTV service to Standard Service. I took that picture, its my 8300HD. Its the Mystro OS. Thank God TWC woke up and is giving us much needed HD.
What about Queens and Brooklyn...they went all digital this month!
TWC is going to start losing customers by the buckets once the impending FIOS franchise is agreed to in NYC unless they start adding HD in NYC real soon. Their excuses have lasted long enough.
All of Queens went digital March 1st and we've gotten crap so far.
This stuff sounds good..but where's the HD they "gave" us in the grid for a week then took away in Queens and Brooklyn?? TWC supposedly finished their conversion to digital in Queens/Bklyn as of March 1st..We want to start to see results and not the flimsy few HD channels they currently offer outside of Woodside and SI.
To add to it, TWC also gave the royal shaft to Queens and Brooklyn customers outside of Woodside when they teased us with 10 new HD channels loaded in the guide for a week, only to pull the off two days ago...What a fine company!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I need help! I want a small pocket camcorder but I'm not sure which one to get. I don't want to fall into the hype of the Flip because I worry two hours won't be enough. What should I be looking for when considering a small camcorder and where can I get a good quality one with expandable memory? Thanks!"
