Nothing, Nada. Maybe 5 years down the road when a 65 inches OLED TV comes to the market.
When this Company will learn that price is king. I bet Samsung is laughing their $@$ at Sony for keeping the same old strategy of high prices. This is good news for Samsung, Vizio and LG.
If you want to watch HD channels without compression, and the way that it was intended to be , then you should choose FIOS, otherwise you can stay with that cable company and their HD lite channels.
Right now with this terrible economic, you got Samsung and Sony struggling in moving out low levels LCD TVS that cost 1200 dollars, and the Pioneer CEO thinks that his company will selll a lot of those Kuros that cost 3000 dollars and Up , I don't think so.
Dude, these holidays will sunk so low, that it will not be funny. have you been paying attention what is happening with the economic of this country lately?, we are fuKR#@@ plain and simple. Right now they can drop this player to 150 and still will not sale a lot of inventories. Things are so bad, that even sonystyle.com sent me a 15% off coupon, and every major retail company from clothing stores to electronic stores such as best buy are junking my mail box with promotional coupons, because they are not selling nothing nada. Consumer confidence is at all time low .
Yeah I live in Manhattan too, but I no longer wait for Crime Warner to deliver new HD channels here In manhattan. I just got the latest sony Bluray player, and rent movies from netflix. When FIOS come to town goodbye Crime Warner
I was going to get my hands on this player, but 700 dollars its too much for this dvd player in my eyes. I still think that the bluray players coming this year are not finished. Next year we will hear profile 3.0.
Ok this is crappy quality, but next week best buy will put up the new Panny BD50, and for you boys that want to give 700 dollars you could get it (lol). It is a shame that the first complete player of this disease called Bluray will cost 700 dollars when you could put another 700 dollars more and buy a decent 40 inches LCD TV. This format is in serious trouble.
Captain Bluray where did you get that information that the BD50 is coming out in June.
PS3 is kicking everybody ##S around, Panasonic better drop the price to 400 if they want to sell a lot of machines. Philips, Samsung, sharp and the rest of the gang are charging 400 dollars per machine, but Panny wants 500 for the BD30 that my friend is overpriced.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just moved into a new apartment and have been reading about all of the new power strips out there, especially the green ones. I was wondering if you had any suggestions about which "green "power strips are out there with decent joules ratings. And when I say green, I mean power strips that have the remotes or switches to turn off all electricity flowing to certain plugs and with at least 2 plugs that are always on. I was looking specifically at sub $50 because I will need two, but if that is not possible I could be convinced otherwise. Thanks!"
