Although several cinama´s indeed claimed they were showing HD pictures, this was not the case. In Europe an upscaled feed was provided (720p) by a British company called ¨Formula1 in Cinema¨. A true HDTV-feed has never been provided, not to cinema´s and not to European broadcaster either.
BravaHD actually is an Opera Music Channel. The €9,99 is not for just the hd channels. You will also get a "theme package" consisting of 10 Standard Definition channels i.e. discovery science, nat geo wild, mgm movie channel, playboy tv. At this moment it looks like you will not be able to subscribe to the hd channels without this theme package...
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I need help! I want a small pocket camcorder but I'm not sure which one to get. I don't want to fall into the hype of the Flip because I worry two hours won't be enough. What should I be looking for when considering a small camcorder and where can I get a good quality one with expandable memory? Thanks!"
